Self Care <3

We're at the end of October and for most college students (including myself) this is the time when the work begins piling up. Suddenly every teacher has a test or an assignment falling on the same week and the projects and presentations are stacking up.

It is in these times when we feel overwhelmed that it is important to remember self-care. The body can't perform its best if it is not properly taken care of mentally, physically and spiritually. I used to believe self-care was simply lush bath bombs and face masks but self-care goes way deeper than that. Self-care is whatever it takes for you to feel good inside in a healthy mature manner. Self-Care is whatever YOU need to become the best version of YOUrself. Whether it's simply saying "no", letting go of a bad friend, taking the time to go to bed early or forgiving yourself for letting yourself down in the past.

Take the time this week to reflect and love yourself. You are your longest commitment! Think of yourself as being in a longterm relationship with yourself and truly learn to love every aspect of it!
